Serveurs US et Euro : quid des canadiens ?
Voici quelques petites nouvelles de Chris Sigaty à propos des joueurs canadiens francophones sur les serveurs européens :
Q: Will the players from Canada be able to join the European servers?
A: In general and to maintain the best online experience possible, Blizzard is only allowing players to connect to the servers in their geographical location. For the majority of Canadian players, that means they will have to connect to North American servers, while European players will have to connect to European servers. However, we are fully aware that French-speaking gamers in the Montreal area will want to play with French-speaking players in Europe. Therefore, we are devising a solution to allow French-speaking players on both sides of the Atlantic to play with each other, although such a solution will not be announced in full detail until or after the launch of the game in Europe.
Q: In other words, will the European servers appear in the Canadians' servers list?
A: There are currently no plans to list European servers for North American players. However, we understand the need to enable French-speaking players in both Canada and Europe to play with each other and there will be a solution in the future to make that happen.
Même si aucun détail n'est dévoilé, Blizzard confirme au moins l'intérêt porté aux joueurs francophones. Après la sortie du jeu en Europe, les joueurs francophones des deux côtés de l'atlantique pourront donc jouer ensemble. On ne sait cependant rien de plus et il faudra attendre pour savoir si ce sont les joueurs québecois qui devront se connecter en Europe ou l'inverse, à moins que Blizzard ne propose encore une autre solution. Mais en gros, on ne nous oublie pas ;)
