Les premières infos sur l'extension 4...
Dans une interview accordée à CVG (merci à Soltek pour son mail à ce sujet), Greg Street annonce que la 4ème extension de World of Warcraft devrait proposer un nouveau continent, à l'instar de ce que l'on a connu pour The Burning Crusade et Wrath of the Lich King. Il précise également qu'il n'aime pas trop le fait que lors du leveling, les joueurs soient en quelque sorte projetés en arrière au niveau de l'histoire.
En effet, maintenant qu'Aile-de-Mort a débarqué sur les Royaumes de l'Est et Kalimdor, il peut paraître bizarre d'arriver en Outreterre et de voir que c'est Illidan le chef, puis le Roi Liche en arrivant en Norfendre. Certains soucis au niveau du background devront donc être corrigés, que ce soit dans les prochains patchs ou dans l'extension 4.
I think the next expansion will be something more like a new continent approach. More like the Burning Crusade or Nothrend, where we send players somewhere new that they haven't seen before.
I think the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are good now, we won't have to mess with them. There might be some small areas that may require polish or changing if things still don't feel quite right. On the other hand we have this weird story now where you almost go back in time when you hit the Burning Crusade and Lich King content. We're going to have to do something to bring that up to speed.
You're hearing all about Deathwing and all the destruction and then you leave Azeroth and go to Outland and they're talking about Illidin. That's a little bit of a non-sequitur, particularly for new players. We need to make that whole story a little smoother.
